Hundreds of flights cancelled; fliers stranded at airport amid Israel-Iran conflict

NEW DELHI: Over 100 flights including 62 departures and 42 arrivals have been cancelled at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport amid the ongoing unrest in the Middle East. The flights have been cancelled for the second consecutive day, leaving many passengers stranded at the airports.

The entire Gulf region is on the brink of war in the wake of the US-Israel-Iran conflict. Officials informed that several domestic flights were delayed due to widespread disruptions at airports. Around 1,520 flights operate at the Indira Gandhi International Airport daily.

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has advised passengers to contact their airlines for the latest information. DIAL informed on their X handle that due to the ongoing political developments in (West Asia), westbound international flights may face delays or schedule adjustments.
