Several people, including celebrities, were left stranded after flight services to Gulf countries were cancelled due to the war situation. Now, actress and dancer Swasika has shared her experience of being stuck in Abu Dhabi during the conflict.

Swasika said she had initially planned to return home on February 28, but her travel was delayed after flights were cancelled. She said that although she felt a slight fear about being alone in another country during such a situation, there was no need to panic in Abu Dhabi. Swasika added that everyone supported her well and that she is happy to have safely returned home.

“At present, there is no situation to be worried about. I had a slight fear about being alone in another country during such a situation. All my loved ones were back home. At night, when you see drones and missiles moving across the sky, it does feel scary. But everyone there is safe. Shops are open, and people are going to work as usual. Everyone hopes that things will become normal within a few days. I had gone to Abu Dhabi for a one-day dance workshop and planned to return quickly. I was supposed to reach home on February 28. But that’s when all flight services were suspended, and I had to stay back. The UAE government is assuring people that everything will be fine. People are trusting that assurance,” Swasika said.
