Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief Vijay and popular actress Trisha appeared together for a wedding function, amidst the former, mired in a divorce scandal that involved allegations of extramarital affairs. This is the first appearance of the pair after Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, filed for divorce from the actor at Chengalpettu court.
Both the actors came together to attend the wedding reception of Kalpathi Suresh and Meenakshi’s son. Both came in the same car and were donning traditional outfits.
Trisha faced a massive cyber-attack after Sangeetha filed for divorce and alleged that Vijay was having an affair with an actress. Joining the dots, it didn’t take so long for the rumour to spread, citing Trisha as the actress mentioned. Sangeetha had alleged that the two often went together abroad and even went to the extent of putting photos together on social media, which invariably left her in trauma.
Sangeetha said that despite conciliation several times, Vijay kept on returning to the actress, which left her with no option other than to seek divorce.
