Relief for Indians; Three flights operating today to repatriate passengers stranded in Qatar

DOHA: A relief for Indians stranded in Qatar amid Iran-Israel tensions. The Indian Embassy in Qatar has informed that there will be flights to Kochi, Mumbai and Delhi today. The Indian Embassy in Qatar said that around a thousand Indians stranded in Doha on transit-short-stay visas have left for their homeland via Qatar Airways in the last three days.


The embassy added that Qatar Airways' Doha-Delhi flight operated yesterday and more than 300 Indians returned home. The embassy also asked Indians to maintain contact with airlines.

The embassy informed that they will take up the cases of passengers stranded in Qatar and applying for Saudi visas. The embassy also advised Indians to strictly follow the guidelines of the Qatar Ministry of Interior. The embassy asked the public to follow only authentic sources of information.
