'I cannot say some things about that actor openly, self-respect is important for me'; actress reveals

Vadivelu is a popular Tamil actor who has a fan following in Kerala as well. At one point, he appeared in almost every film that was released in theatres. He is best known for his comedy roles. Vadivelu was recently seen in the film Maareesan alongside Fahadh Faasil. His role in the film received a lot of attention from the audience.

However, the actor has also faced several allegations in the film industry in the past. Now, comments made by actress Sona Heiden, who had earlier acted with him, are being widely discussed on social media.

Sona said she had received many offers to act with Vadivelu but rejected them due to self-respect. She revealed this in a recent interview. The actress also said that at one point she had even decided to quit acting because of the difficulties she faced in the film industry.

“At one stage, I felt like quitting acting. You cannot trust anyone in the film industry. I faced many difficulties because of several people, and it became unbearable for me. That is why I stayed away from cinema for some time. I received offers to act in 16 films with Vadivelu, but I rejected all of them. It is very difficult to tolerate him. No one can really handle Vadivelu. There are some things I cannot say openly. My self-respect is more important,” Sona Heiden said.
