KOCHI: Kerala Blasters continue their woeful start to the ISL 2026 season, after facing yet another defeat against Punjab on Saturday. The Blasters faced five defeats and one draw in six matches. The Kerala team are currently in 13th place with only one point.

According to news reports, Kerala Blasters coach David Català Jiménez will be fired by the management in the next few hours. It is also reported that an agreement has been reached for Català’s exit. It is assessed that the Spanish coach failed to lead the current team towards success.
