'She loved me like her own daughter, not just as a daughter-in-law'; Navya Nair pays tribute to late mother-in-law

Actress Navya Nair’s mother-in-law Shantha Menon has passed away. Navya Nair shared the news through a post on social media. In her note, Navya wrote that Shantha Menon was a constant source of strength in her life. She said that her mother-in-law loved her not as a daughter-in-law, but as her own daughter, and always stood by her with support and prayers during difficult times.

“She was my light, and now that light has gone out. She was always my courage in everything. She loved me like her own daughter, not just as a daughter-in-law. In all our difficult moments, she would say her prayers and blessings would always be with us. I did everything she wished for. I endured my losses in front of her love. She loved my dance very much. She last attended my performance at the Mathangi Festival and watched the entire show. She proudly told everyone that I performed for two hours,” Navya wrote.

Navya also shared photos of their time together along with the note.

Navya Nair’s husband, Santhosh Menon, also shared the news of his mother’s passing.
