Move ongoing to release 'Jana Nayagan' in May

KVN Productions is planning to release superstar Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ in theatres in May. Distributors and theatre owners have advised the producers not to delay the release of the film, which was made at a budget of Rs 500 crore. There are also concerns that the delay in the release will affect distribution deals.

As soon as the decision of the Censor Board Revising Committee comes, a decision will be made on the future of ‘Jana Nayagan’. Since it is summer vacation, an early release is also beneficial for the distributors. Moreover, a May release of the political thriller will also be helpful for Vijay, who has stepped full-time into politics.
