Deepika Padukone expecting second baby with Ranveer Singh

Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their second baby. The couple shared a joint post on Instagram with a picture showing their daughter Dua holding a positive pregnancy test kit. When the post went viral, many have stepped forward congratulating the couple.

The couple got married in 2018 in Italy. They welcomed their first child on September 8 in 2024. The couple revealed the name of their daughter after two months of her birth. They have named the baby ‘Dua Padukone Singh’. Dua means prayers. Deepika wrote on Instagram that day, ‘She is the answer to our prayers.’

Deepika had once shared that her first pregnancy was complicated, especially in the last three months. She said that the eight to nine months were physically and emotionally exhausting and she went through different emotions at the same time. Deepika also expressed her gratitude to her husband Ranveer Singh, who took frequent breaks from the shooting of his film Durandhar 2.
