KOZHIKODE: Former CPM local leader Manoj was arrested on Friday in relation to the Koodathai murder case. Reports suggest that Manoj was arrested by the investigation team for helping Jolly to prepare a fake will. It must be noted that CPM had expelled Manoj in October.
According to reports, Manoj had signed a fake will after obtaining money from Jolly. Manoj was a local committee member of CPM in Kattangal near NIT. CPM had revoked Manoj's primary membership for tarnishing the reputation of the party.
It is learnt that the investigation team had questioned Manoj for several hours before arresting him. Sources said that police have also found crucial evidence which proves that Manoj knew about the murders committed by Jolly. Manoj will be soon presented before the magistrate and then taken into custody.
