THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaking to the media after holding talks with the finance minister and cultural minister, the Producer’s Association said that they hadn’t banned Shane Nigam from the cinema. The producers said that the actor should complete his current projects.
In the meeting with Minister A.K. Balan, he promised the producers that another meeting will be held to discuss the use of drugs in the cinema industry.
There were strong protests against the additional entertainment tax imposed on cinema tickets. The meeting was summoned by the finance minister Thomas Isaac and cinema minister A.K. Balan. Minister A.K. Balan said that the demands of the distributors and producers will be considered.
The Producer’s Association said that the issues with Shane Nigam will be discussed with the actor’s conclave AMMA.
