NEW DELHI: Popular South Indian actor Siddharth on Monday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah by comparing them to Shakuni and Duryodhana. Siddharth's latest comment came in the wake of the violence against the students in the country's universities.

Siddharth made the comment through his Twitter page. He wrote, "These two are not Krishna and Arjuna. They are Shakuni and Duryodhana. Stop attacking #universities! Stop assaulting #students! #JamiaMilia #JamiaProtest."

Earlier, the Delhi Police had entered the campus of Jamia Millia University and attacked the students who were protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act. According to the students, the police had vandalized the university library and attacked many people including the teachers.
