Former CBI joint director K Madhavan passes away

NEW DELHI: Former CBI joint director K Madhavan (83) passed away on Saturday in New Delhi.

It was Madhavan who investigated some of the sensational cases in the country such as the Bofors scandal and Bhopal Gas tragedy.

Madhavan's last rites were held on Saturday evening at Lodi Road Crematorium.
