The film Guru, directed by Rajeev Anchal, was a much-noted film the career of actor Mohanlal. Though years have passed after its release, its director has made some revelations about the special feeling Mohanlal had during its shoot.

“Throughout the shoot of this film, Mohanlal remained a strict vegetarian. He had shared we me some experiences he had during that time. There is a scene in which stones are hurled at him. After taking the scene in which he stands on top of a hill, calling out, “don’t throw stones at me”, he told me emotionally that he was gripped by a strange spiritual feel during that scene. He acted all scenes in that location in Salem with that “highly spiritual feel’,” Rajeev said in an interview given to a media group.
