THRISSUR: The police has come to the fore with crucial revelations that abkari Dharmarajan, the complainant in the Kodakara theft case, has RSS links. Thrissur SP G Poonguzhali told media that Dharmarajan has admitted that he is a RSS activist and does not know who gave him the money and it is being investigated.

The money recovered from the accused is more than what is mentioned in the complaint. So it is yet to be clarified how much money was stolen and from where he got the money has to be made clear. The SP explained that more people are being questioned.

Meantime, the statement that Yuva Morcha leader Sunil Naik gave money to Dharmarajan is out. He was the former treasurer of Yuva Morcha. It is learned that Sunil was questioned by the police. With this, things have reached a stage where the BJP leadership has to answer this.

The complaint was that Rs 25 lakh given by Dharmarajan, an abkari from Kozhikode, was stolen in a fake car accident in Kodakara. Dharmarajan and driver Shamjeer lodged the complaint in the incident. However, in a probe conducted, the police found Rs 3.5 crore in the car. Seven people were arrested in the incident the other day. A lookout notice has also been issued for five accused.
