Santosh Trophy: Kerala beats Karnataka, enters final

MALAPPURAM: Kerala reached the final of the Santosh Trophy football tournament by emphatically beating Karnataka in the semi-final. The hosts defeated Karnataka by scoring seven goals against three in the match held at the Manjeri Payyanad Stadium on Thursday. Jasin, who entered the ground as a substitute in the 28th minute, took the game away from Karnataka by scoring 5 goals.

Although Karnataka scored the first goal of the match, it was Jasin who brought back Kerala into the match by scoring goals in quick succession. Jasin completed his hat-trick in the first half.
