Refused to give Rs 10; 35-year-old stabbed by two men inside temple premises

AHMEDABAD: Two people stabbed a man who was visiting a temple in Ahmedabad for refusing to give Rs 10. 35-year old Kalu Vasava, a resident of Bharuch, was stabbed by two men. Raghu and Dinesh demanded Rs 10 from the young man who used to visit the temple every day. But Vasava refused.

When Vasava visited the temple on Sunday morning, the two started insulting him which resulted in a quarrel. One of them took out a knife and stabbed Vasava. Witnesses rescued Vasava and rushed him to a nearby hospital. Police have registered a case against the accused. Ahmedabad Railway Police are also investigating the incident based on Vasava's statement.
