HYDERABAD: The people of Hyderabad woke up to the sounds of jets on Monday. They were staring out of their windows in wonder at the fighter jets criss-crossing in the sky. However, those did not belong to the Indian Air Force (IAF), rather were Black Eagles, the fighter jets of the Republic of Korea Air Force.

The Black Eagles had landed in the city for technical reasons and were in the area for about two hours. The jets flew towards Nagpur later in the day, said an air force official. Similar incidents were reported in Junagadh and Upleta in 2021 as well.
