MUMBAI: Billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (62), known as ‘India’s Warren Buffet’, died on Sunday. He was declared dead at 6:45 am at Mumbai’s Candy Breach Hospital.
Jhunjhunwala had been suffering from multiple ailments including kidney related diseases. He was the promoter of Akasa Air, chairman of Hungama Media, and was among the board of directors of Viceroy Hotels, Concord Biotech, Provogue India and Geojit Financial Services. He was the 36th richest person in the country.
