South Indian art director T Santhanam passes away

CHENNAI: Popular art director of South India T Santhanam passed away. He was the art director of Ayirathil Oruvan released in 2010. Reports said that he died of a heart attack. He is in his 50s.

Santhanam, who rose to fame with Selvaraghavan's master piece Ayirathil Oruvan, was later part of many blockbuster films. Vijay’s Sarkar and Rajini’s Durbar are examples. His upcoming film is 1947 August 16 directed by A R Murugadoss.
