Police clearance not required for Indians to get Saudi visa

saudi

RIYADH: The Saudi Arabian embassy in India has said that Indians do not need police clearance certificate (PCC) for visa to travel to Saudi Arabia. In a tweet put out by the embassy, the gulf country said that the PCC is avoided for Indian citizens as a gesture of goodwill on the account of India’s relation and partnership with Saudi Arabia.

The move is to make the bond between both the countries stronger. The Saudi embassy also expressed its appreciation for the contributions made by 20 lakh Indians working in that country.
