RSS worker hacked in Kannur, police force deployed

KANNUR: A RSS worker was hacked in New Mahe. Yashwanth, a native of Kooli Bazar in Vadakkumbhagam, was seriously injured in the attack. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kannur. It is not clear who attacked.

In the incident, the police have started an investigation focusing on the CCTV and mobile towers of the place. Investigation will be also done to find whether anyone had enmity with Yashwanth. After the attack, there is a heavy police presence at the place. More battalions will be deployed here.
