Omar Lulu is a director who is popular for his new-generation entertainer movies. His upcoming film is 'Nalla Samayam'. He made his debut through the film 'Happy Wedding' in 2016. The film was a commercial success.

His movies are mostly targeted at youth audiences. Most of his films give opportunities to newcomers. In his interview toKaumudi Movies, he also spoke about Shakila being left out of an event in Kozhikode recently.

"Oru Adaar Love was a film that gave both sadness and happiness. The police have registered a case saying that it hurts religious sentiments", Omar said.

'Malayalis are yet to change. In Kerala, people judge others a lot. Prithviraj made the film 'Lucifer' at a budget of Rs 50 crores, but Santhosh Pandit made his film at a cost of Rs 5 lakh. He made a movie with his own money and it should be judged as such', he added.
