Shashi Tharoor thanked MK Raghavan MP for making his Malabar tour a grand success. In his Facebook post, Tharoor thanked his friend and colleague for making his five-day Malabar tour a success after facing heavy odds. He also said that they were united in strengthening the party and the UDF in Kerala.

MK Raghavan stood strongly with Tharoor when the party tried to dampen his Malabar tour with an unofficial ban. Raghavan’s intervention brought a mass support to the functions attended by Tharoor. When the other side did its maximum to block Shashi Tharoor, their attempts were made futile by the strong crowds that thronged to hear the speeches of the Thiruvananthapuram MP.
