PATNA: A Chinese woman suspected of spying Dalai Lama has been arrested in Bihar. Security officials found the woman in a suspicious situation while the Dalai Lama was about to attend a ceremony in Gaya, Bihar. Bihar police and central agencies are currently interrogating the woman, who is likely to be deported.
The police recently released the sketch of a suspected Chinese 'spy' on social media. The Dalai Lama came to the state for a month-long visit to a Buddhist temple in Bihar. At the same time, another Chinese woman was arrested by the Delhi Police last October for alleged spy work.
The police clarified that they had been staying here for three years in the guise of a Buddhist monk. Reportedly, she entered India through Nepal.
