Oscar nominations today, four Indian films shortlisted

The Oscar nominations will be announced today. Indian films ‘RRR, 'Chello Show', 'All That Breathes' and 'The Elephant Whispers' are included in the shortlist. The event will be held at 8.30 am IST on Tuesday in California's Beverly Hills, US.

‘RRR’ which won the Golden Globe and the Critic's Choice awards are expected in the best song category. The song 'Naatu Naatu' competes with songs from films like Avatar and Black Panther.

British actor Riz Ahmed, who won the Oscar for the first-time last year, and American actress Allison Williams will announce the 2023 nominations. The final award announcement will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on March 12.
