Mohanlal dons rayban again; February 9th is the day

The 1995 epic Spadikam ranks as the best Mohanlal film for many ardent fans. The film helped the actor to metamorphose into a larger–than–life figure in the industry. Now after 27 years, the movie is being remastered in an ambitious move from the director Bhadran. The director has been buzzing over the news on his Facebook page and is hopeful that the three-decades-old film has not lost its sheen.

In the latest., the director has shared a video song recording of the movie on social media. The song “ezhimalapoonchola” got etched into the minds of multitudes for the rare placing of Mohanlal as a singer and the sylphlike movements of erstwhile sensation silk Smita. The recording video has garnered pace to hit the trending list in no time. In the video, Mohanlal and singer K S Chitra are seen rendering back the soul to the old epic. The movie in 4k will hit the screens on February 9th.
