After Messi, Ronaldo likely to play in India, to face FC Goa in AFC Champions League

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Talks are still going on whether the Argentine team and superstar Messi will come to Kerala or not. Meanwhile, the possibility of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo coming to India is opening up. Ronaldo has the opportunity to come to India while participating in the AFC Champions League matches.

In the AFC champions league group two draw held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Ronaldo’s Club and Saudi’s Al Nassr and FC Goa were included in the same group. With this, it is hinted that Ronaldo may come to India to play in the match against Goa. The matches will be played on a home and away basis.

There are 16 teams in the Champions League Western Zone. They are divided into four groups. Al Nassr is in Pot 1, Bagan is in Pot 3, and Goa is in Pot 4. The matches will be held from September 16 to December 10.
