Dhoni Bhai said he can play in IPL if he loses 20 Kg weight; Afghanistan player with disclosure

DUBAI: The cricketers of India and Afghanistan maintain friendship both inside and outside the cricket field. The players of Afghanistan are also big fans of the Indian cricket team. Now cricketer Asghar Afghan has made a revelation about an interesting conversation he once had with Dhoni.

The player's revelation is about the conversation he had with Dhoni about former Afghanistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Shahzad. He was talking about the long dialogue he had with Dhoni, after the tie between India and Afghanistan in the 2018 Asia Cup.

Ashgar says that it was then that he told him that their Mohammad Shahzad was a big fan of Dhoni bhai. Asghar Afghan recalled that Dhoni's response was to tell him that he can play in the IPL if he loses 20 kg.

Dhoni also joked that he has a bit of a belly. Ashgar added that Shahzad's weight had increased by five kilos by the time he returned home from Dubai. Ashgar also said that Dhoni is God's gift to Indian cricket.
