MULLANPUR: The dismissal of Washington Sundar was a crucial moment during the Gujarat - Mumbai Eliminator match in the Indian Premier League. Sundar was clean bowled after Jasprit Bumrah's powerful yorker was unstoppable. Some occurrences that happened in the boundary lane just before this are currently being discussed on social media.

Bumrah can be seen in the video pacifying Mumbai Indians coach Mahela Jayawardene during the match. While the Mumbai players were trying to win the match while Gujarat was batting, batting coach Kieron Pollard and Mahela Jayawardene came near the boundary lane. While talking to them, Bumrah gestured with his hands asking them to 'relax'. With this, Jayawardene and Pollard returned to the team's dugout.

Jatin Sapru responded during the commentary that Bumrah said, "Relax, I know my job well. I am here. You stay calm and just give me a chance." Anyway, Mumbai Indians won the game thanks to Bumrah's decisive performance. Mumbai, who won the toss and opted to bat yesterday, scored 228 runs for the loss of five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, restricting Gujarat to 208/6.
