Messi and team to visit Kerala before World Cup? Big report from team marketing head

DUBAI: As per new reports, the Argentine football team, led by legendary star Lionel Messi, is likely to play in Kerala. The team's marketing director, Leandro Petersen, said that discussions are underway with ministers in this regard.

Although the exact date has not been finalised, Leandro clarified that the match is expected to be held in October this year. "We are proud that the team has such a large fan base in India. We hope to play the match before the World Cup," he said.

The government is considering holding the match at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kochi. As per rumours, the opposition team is likely to be from Asia. The matches will be part of the "Olopo Magic" program organised with the help of the All Kerala Gold and Silver Merchants Association.
