Punjab Kings extend unbeaten streak with big win over LSG

NEW CHANDIGARH: Punjab Kings continued their unbeaten run in the IPL with a dominant 54-run win over Lucknow Super Giants. Batting first, Punjab posted a huge total of 254 for 7 in 20 overs. In reply, Lucknow managed to get only 200 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Punjab’s strong total was powered by Priyansh Arya, who scored 93 off 37 balls with nine sixes, and Cooper Connolly, who made 87 off 46 balls. Marcus Stoinis (29) and Shashank Singh (17) added quick runs.

For Lucknow, Rishabh Pant scored 43, while Mitchell Marsh (40) and Aiden Markram (42) made useful contributions, but none could convert their starts into big scores.

With this win, Punjab Kings remain at the top of the points table with 11 points from six matches.
