DEHRADUN: Years after his retirement, fans are still hyped to see cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar in action. They got one such opportunity as Indian Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar faced England Legends in the Road Safety Series T20 match. The 'master blaster' was in blistering form as he smashed boundaries across the park, just like the good old days. Sachin scored 40 runs from just 20 balls including three sixes and a four. Seeing this performance, some fans want Sachin Tendulkar to be included in the team for the T20 World Cup in Australia. Sachin's performance was reminiscent of the innings that Sachin played against the mighty Australian team in Sharjah in 1998,
Many of the shots played by Sachin were almost as good as those played two and a half decades ago. A sixer he hit against the England Legends the other day was an exact copy of the shot he played against Australia in 1998.
Batting first, India Legends scored 170 runs for the loss of five wickets in a match that had to be reduced to 15 overs due to rain. In reply, England could only score 130 runs for the loss of six wickets.
