MUMBAI: Music director Palash Muchhal has proposed to women's cricketer Smriti Mandhana at the stadium where India lifted the World Cup. Palash has released the footage of the proposal. In the footage, Palash brings Smriti blindfolded and holds her hand at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and then proposes on his knees. The Indian cricket superstar will be getting married to the music director on Sunday.

Smriti had announced her marriage to Palash Muchhal on Instagram the other day via a fun Instagram dance video with her teammates. Jemimah Rodrigues, Shreyanka Patel, Radha Yadav, and Arundhati Reddy were the ones who danced with the star. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished Smriti and Palash a happy life forever. The couple reportedly started dating in 2019 but kept the relationship private for five years. They made their relationship "Instagram official" in July 2024, celebrating their fifth anniversary.
