'Proposed open marriage, forced sex and hidden cameras'; Rippling co-founder's wife with shocking allegations

SAN FRANCISCO: Dhivya Sashidhar, wife of Indian tech entrepreneur and Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sankar, talked more about their tumultuous marriage. Divya accused Prasanna of rape, sexual harassment, physical abuse, financial fraud, and tax evasion. Prasanna Shankar had recently made public allegations that Divya cheated on him with her friend.

Prasanna, with a net worth of $1.3 billion, recently made a viral post on social media about Chennai police haunting him and his family over alleged fake complaints from his wife. Many came in support of Prasanna after he shared the purported chats between Dhivya and her paramour Anoop. It was said that Prasanna received the screenshots from Anoop's wife. Prasanna Sankar had also alleged that authorities were tracking his phone, vehicle, and IP address without an FIR.

In an interview with a US portal, Dhivya called the screenshot doctored and said her relationship with Anoop was emotional and not sexual.

According to Dhivya:

• Prasanna Shankar forced her to have sex several times, including while she was recovering from childbirth in 2016.
• He forced her into an open marriage.
• Prasanna even admitted to having made frequent visits to a brothel.
• He installed hidden cameras in his Singapore home, including in his son's bathroom.
• Violence was frequent, and Dhivya was also banned from using his bank cards.
• He moved from California to Washington and then to Singapore to avoid paying income taxes. He changed his US visa status to avoid paying exit taxes.
• In an interview, Dhivya revealed that Prasanna forced her to have sex with friends, which she refused. Dhivya said this incident was the final nail in the coffin of their marriage.
