
NEW DELHI: In the backdrop of the Iran conflict, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has once again postponed its examinations in the Gulf region. The Class 12 exams that were scheduled to be held from March 12 to 16 have now been postponed. CBSE said that the revised dates will be announced later.
Earlier, on March 3, CBSE had already postponed Class 10 and Class 12 exams in several Gulf countries due to the tensions in West Asia. The exams that were scheduled to be held on March 5 and 6 were initially postponed.
The board had issued instructions to CBSE schools in countries such as Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates regarding the postponement. CBSE had earlier said that new exam dates would be announced later. Now, the exams have been postponed again due to the continuing situation.
