Great opportunity; UAE announces special privileges for Dubai residents including expats 

ABU DHABI: Dubai residents, who sponsor residency visas for family members or domestic workers will be rewarded for adhering to residency regulations through a new initiative called ‘The Ideal Face’ from November 1. Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) informed that Dubai residents and Emirati sponsors who have not violated residency laws for the past 10 years will receive special privileges from November 1.

Those who strictly follow the UAE residency rules will get the special privileges.

• Ideal Face Digital Certificate.
• Offering services to senior citizens at their residences with the help of a mobile service vehicle.

Eligibility criteria
• Must be a UAE citizen or foreign resident.
• Must have resided in Dubai for at least ten years.
• Sponsor of one or more persons. They must not have committed residency violations in the past 10 years.
• The sponsor must not have any recorded residency violations in the current year.

GDRFA Director General Lt Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri said that all citizens, residents and visitors to the UAE should participate in the new scheme.
