TEL AVIV: Hamas has launched an attack targeting Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel. The information was given by Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas. Two M90 rockets were launched. One crossed Gaza and reached the Israeli border but fell into the sea and the other fell in Gaza itself. The information was confirmed by the Israel Air Force.
"A short time ago, one launch was detected that crossed the territory of the Gaza Strip and fell into the maritime space in the center of the country. No policy alerts were triggered. At the same time, another launch was detected that did not cross into Israel," the Israeli Air Force posted on X.
Israeli media also reported that explosions were heard in Tel Aviv, but no injuries were reported. At the same time, the health department said that 19 Palestinians were killed today in Israeli airstrikes in central and southern Gaza. The US response is that it still thinks that peace is possible in the region. The United States believes that peace talks scheduled for Thursday will go ahead as planned. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will leave today for talks in Qatar, Egypt and Israel.
The Israeli government says it will send its team for negotiations but Hamas insists on implementing the already agreed proposals instead of the negotiation talks.
