IndiGo Dubai-Kozhikode flight delayed for hours; passengers stranded at airport

DUBAI: The IndiGo flight from Dubai to Kozhikode has been hit by a long delay. The flight, which was supposed to depart at 3:20 a.m. today, has still not taken off from Dubai even after eight hours.

Passengers, including women and children, who arrived at the airport around 12:30 a.m. last night, are still waiting there. They were first told that the delay was due to the pilot falling ill. The latest update given to passengers says the flight will depart at 12:30 p.m. UAE time.
