Native of Thrissur dies in accident in Saudi; family hospitalized

DAMAM: A native of Thrissur has died in an accident in Saudi Arabia. The accident happened on the Damam-Riyadh highway in Huraira near the eastern province of Dammam. The vehicle carrying Siddique Hasainar of Thrissur Thalikkulam Kalliparambil and his family met with the accident early Tuesday morning. Farhana Sherin aged 18, one of the twin daughters of Siddique died in the accident.

Siddique, his wife, two other children sustained injuries and are under treatment. Hospital authorities said the condition of one of them is serious. The family, who reached Saudi on a visiting visa met with the accident when they were returning to Riyadh from Bahrain where they have gone to renew their visa.
