DUBAI: Airlines offered relief for expatriates, worried about the closure of airspace in the wake of the war. Airlines from India, such as Air India Express, Indigo Airlines, and SpiceJet, have announced limited services.

Emirates, FlyDubai, Etihad and Air Arabia have partially resumed emergency services in recent days. The UAE opened a safe air corridor yesterday, allowing 48 flights per hour, paving the way for more airlines to operate.

Air India Express will operate special services to and from Ras Al Khaimah to Delhi, Kochi and Mumbai from March 5 to 7. The service will depart from Kochi at 4.25 pm and arrive in Ras Al Khaimah at 8.55 pm.

The flight will depart from Ras Al Khaimah at 9.55 pm and arrive in Kochi at 1.55 am. In addition, Air India Express is also operating services from Al-Ain to Kozhikode. It was earlier decided that all airlines would suspend scheduled services till March 9. Meanwhile, the sharp increase in air ticket prices in the backdrop of the war continues to take a toll on the expatriates.
