NEW DELHI: As tensions continue in West Asia, more flight services have been scheduled between India and the Gulf region. A total of 58 flights from India have been scheduled today. The services resumed after Saudi Arabia and Oman reopened their airspace. Air India had already restarted scheduled flights to Jeddah and Muscat earlier.

Out of the total flights, 24 are scheduled services. In addition, 34 non-scheduled flights will operate today to bring back people stranded in the Gulf region. Airlines such as IndiGo and SpiceJet will operate special services from the UAE. Efforts are also underway to partially resume flights to Abu Dhabi and Muscat.

From Kerala, scheduled flights to and from Muscat will operate today from airports in Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. Under the non-scheduled category, a special Kochi-Ras Al Khaimah-Kochi service will also operate today.
