Stone takes 27-year-old expatriate Malayali's life; Salman's death when he tried to avoid getting wet in rain

RAS AL KHAIMAH: A young expatriate Malayali man died tragically after a stone that fell from a building in strong winds fell on his body. The accident occurred in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Salman Faris (27), a native of Kodinji, Malappuram, died. The accident occurred in the early hours of the previous day. He was seeking shelter in a building under construction to avoid getting wet in the rain.

Salman had been working as a delivery worker at the Istanbul Shawarma shop run by a Kozhikode native in Ras Al Khaimah Al Nakheel for the past four years. He is the son of Sulaiman and Asmabee, both from Kodinhi Nannambra.
