Malayali nurse stabbed in Ireland; attack when stepped out to buy milk

DUBLIN: Reports say a Malayali nurse was racially abused in Ireland. A media reported that the youth, who was stabbed in the stomach is being treated in hospital.

The incident happened at around 10 pm last night when the youth went out to buy milk. It is reported that a group of teenagers attacked him, shouting 'Go Back India'. The youth somehow came out and asked a lift and requested to take him to the hospital. The youth is presently out of danger.

Sentiments has been strong against foreigners in Ireland for quite some time. With the end of the winter season, teenagers and youths enter homes very late. Many are seen in roads after consuming alcohol and drugs.
