TEL AVIV: The death news of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was circulated yesterday. The news that circulated on social media was that Netanyahu was killed in an Iranian attack and that he had fled the country.

As the Iran-Israel war entered its 15th day, Netanyahu shared a video of himself addressing the nation on his official X account on Friday. Millions of people came forward to point out that he had six fingers on his right hand while speaking in this video. There were speculations later that the person in the video was Netanyahu's namesake.

The video went viral with comments like, ‘This is AI glitch, look at his fingers.’ American political commentator Candace Owens asked ‘Where’s Bibi?’ referring to him by his nickname. She also asked why is his office releasing and deleting fake AI videos.

Now, Netanyahu's office has clarified the incident. The Prime Minister's Office said that he is not dead and that the news is false. Officials added that Netanyahu is doing well.
