TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologised to Gulf states for the attacks carried out during the war against the Israeli-American alliance. Pezeshkian also said that the attacks were not aimed at the Gulf states. The announcement came in a program broadcast on Iranian state TV.
“On behalf of myself and Iran, I must definitely apologise to the neighbouring countries. There will be no attacks on neighbouring countries from now on. The interim leadership council has announced that there will be no attacks on those countries and no missile launches unless an attack on Iran originates from those countries. Tehran will not surrender in this war. The enemies will have to take the desire to see the Iranian people surrender to their graves. The decision aims to prevent further escalation of tensions in the region," Pezeshkian said.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump had announced the other day that there would be no deal with Iran other than unconditional surrender. Following this, the attack on Iran was intensified.
Israel destroyed the underground bunkers of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with 50 jets. Israel claimed to have destroyed the place where Iran's drones are stored, the place where underground ballistic missile launchers are located, and the Revolutionary Guard's arsenals. US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned that the attacks would intensify in the coming days.
