TEHRAN: Israel launches massive missile attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Israel has carried out this move in violation of US President Donald Trump's assurance that it will not attack Iran's energy facilities. Reports say there were no casualties or radiation leaks in the attack. Several people were injured when Iranian missiles hit Israeli cities yesterday.

US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff said he hoped for direct talks with Iran soon. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio responded by saying that the US has a primary goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and that the US is close to war goals.

Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Trump's statement that would not attack energy facilities was just words. Israel attacked two large steel plants, a power station, a civilian nuclear facility and other infrastructure. He added that there would be a heavy price to pay for all this.

IRGC Aerospace Commander Seyed Majid Mousavi said that Israel was playing with fire. ‘Attacking our infrastructure facilities. You have tried this before, and there is no compromise now. Wait and see,’ he warned.
