THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will meet the press on Saturday amid the ongoing political conundrum over ADGP’s meeting with RSS leaders. The CM will likely explain the reasons behind not taking punitive actions against ADGP and his political secretary P Sasi. The press conference is scheduled for 11 am.

Allegations against ADGP include his covert meeting with RSS leaders without informing the police chief or the government. ADGP Ajith Kumar is also under the lens of illegal acquisition of property.

There is also discontent within party allies for the government not removing Ajith Kumar from the law and order section, despite an ongoing vigilance probe against him.

The whole of Kerala is looking for answers from the state's chief minister, and it will be a test for the leader to tackle such a gruelling situation.
