Television stars Kris Venugopal and Divya Sridhar marry in intimate ceremony at Guruvayur

Television stars Kris Venugopal and Divya Sridhar tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held at the Guruvayur Temple, attended by close family and friends. Kris, a well-known actor in serials and films as well as a motivational speaker, found love with Divya, who is recognized for her roles—especially her memorable performances in negative and character roles.

The couple, who starred together in the popular serial ‘Patharamaattu’, were brought together through a suggestion from Kris's cousin. For Divya, this marks a second chance at love. She has two children from her previous marriage and took her time to consult with them before moving forward.

"When I first met Ettan, I was a bit scared. When he eventually proposed, I initially thought he was joking, given his stature but then I understood he was serious. I decided to ask my daughter, as it was essential that my children felt secure and accepted in this relationship. It’s a decision I took only after knowing this would be a bond that truly welcomed us all," said Divya.
