LONDON: After the sacking of Liam Rosenior, Chelsea Football Club reportedly got in touch with Andoni Iraola, who has already announced his departure from Bournemouth at the end of this season.
Chelsea jumped into action to find a quality replacement after their previous choice (Rosenior) went terribly wrong, as the former England player could last only four months with the English top-flight club. Calum McFarlane is now the interim coach at Chelsea.
Amidst rumours, Iraola is all blasé, making no comments on his future. The Spanish former player said he will make the right choices only after the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in contact with Cesc Fabregas and Marco Silva to fill the void suppose Irola deal fall through. It is also reported that Manchester United have also started moves to seek the service of Iraola from next season.
